The Pops in the Park concert, now in its nineteenth year, brings the
Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra to Eldredge Park for a night of music under
the stars. The proceeds from Pops in the Park, and its partner events,
benefit our scholarship fund. Since Pops began in 1990, we have awarded
over $100,000 to qualified Nauset Regional High School Graduates.
Beginning with 1997's recipient of the Orleans Chamber of Commerce Pops
in the Park Scholarship, we increased our commitment from $1500 to
$2500 for each successful academic year - a total scholarship of
$10,000. The concert, which has become one of the largest cultural
events on the Outer Cape, is a tribute to the efforts and dedication of
the volunteers who work so hard to produce it. Pops in the Park is presented by the Orleans Chamber of Commerce.
